Bio

Coach McCord is currently in his 10th year at Dyer County High School.  Before coming to Dyer County, Coach McCord spent 15 years in Missouri as the head coach of Scott City (10) and Cape Girardeau Central High School (5).  While in Missouri, Coach McCord composed an overall record of 281-137.

During his tenure at Dyer County, Coach McCord has been at the helm of the boys' program for 10 years and the girls' program for 7 years.  In his time here at Dyer County, Coach McCord has an overall record of 373-98.

Coach McCord resides in Newbern, TN with his wife Shelby, who is an Instructional Coach with the Dyer County School District and a National Board Certified Elementary Instructor, and two sons: Marshall (16) and J.D. (14).

High School: North Pemiscot, MO -1983 - played baseball and basketball.  Was a member of the 1981 Missouri AA State Basketball Champions
