Dyer County High School athletics has long been a source of pride and tradition. The Dyer County Choctaws are owners of two State Championship trophies, which include the 2009 Baseball State Championship and the 1973 Football State Championship. The Choctaws and Lady Choctaws have combined for multiple district and region championships in the school's 9 varsity men's sports and 11 varsity women's sports.
