The Key Corner Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution recently gathered at McIver’s Grant Public Library to recognize an outstanding group of students whose achievements reflect the very best of our community.
Two Dyer County students were honored for their dedication to history, citizenship, and service. Lily Flagg was recognized in the Patriots of the American Revolution Essay Contest and as a DAR Good Citizen for the Class of 2026, earning School Winner, Chapter Winner, and State Honorable Mention. Makayla Hart was named a recipient of the Nelly Galloway Shearer Scholarship through TSDAR.
