The Dyer County High School tennis teams had an outstanding weekend at the Hornet Cup held at South Gibson County High School.
The Choctaw boys team captured first place in the Silver Cup Championship match, while the Lady Choctaws finished as runner-up in a close 7-9 match. Four DCHS players were also selected by coaches to the All-Tournament Team for their excellence in play, including Bo Dodds, Clay Dodds, Aylin Ramirez, and Katherine Webb.
Both the boys and girls tennis teams remain undefeated this season as they prepare to compete in the district tournament next Thursday.
The teams will also host Senior Night on Monday, April 20, at the DCHS tennis courts. Senior recognition will begin at 3:30 p.m., followed by the final home match of the season against Obion County at 4:00 p.m.
