BUCKLE UP CLUB

Recently, DCHS was presented with the Traffic Safety School Gold Award for the 2022-2023 academic year!!

The driver education teachers formed a Buckle Up Club to compete with other schools in the state completing various challenges on the Reduce TN Crashes website. This is the second year Dyer County High School has received this prestigious award, accompanied with a $250 Amazon gift card to the BU Club and a banner to be displayed in their school. Various activities include the Ollie the Otter program, Battle of the Belt challenge, TN Checkpoints Program, AAA PROMise, and many others. Currently, DCHS has 12,700 points accumulated. The competition ends mid-May and DCHS is working to finish first place. Many of these challenges were completed with the help of the PADD coordinators (pictured below).
