The band traveled to Peabody High School to compete at the WTSBOA Marching Festival and the Peabody Marching Invitational. The band earned the following ratings: Superior Field Commander Superior Percussion Superior Band Excellent Color Guard The band also earned: 1st Field Commander 2nd Percussion 2nd Color Guard 3rd Band in Class 2A In small division, the band earned: 1st Field Commander 2nd Percussion 2nd Color Guard 2nd Highest Music Literacy Drive The Community Service Class wants to thank everyone that participated in the book drive. DCHS collected a total of 1200 books to donate to charity. Mr. Perea’s 2nd block class won the competition by donating a total of 356 books! SENIOR NIGHT-Volleyball and Soccer! Tonight is Senior Night for the Lady Choctaw Volleyball and Soccer teams! JV Volleyball will play Obion County tonight beginning at 5:00; Senior recognition will be immediately after the JV game, with the Varsity game to follow. The girls team placed 3rd out of 14 teams. The boys team placed 2nd out of 18 teams.
