John Uitendaal and Southern Dutchman Insurance presented the book containing all the works from Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn- A Dutchman recognized as "Old Master" Painter and Inventor of Modern Etching to the Dyer County High School Art Department. He presented the gift on the October 4, 2019 the 350th year since the passing of Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn. This day is also recognized as DCHS Homecoming Day.

ACT Registration
Registration for the October 26th test date has been extended to tomorrow, September 27th.
Students that qualify for a fee waiver will have until October 4th to register.
Please check in Guidance to pick up your voucher.

Seniors: Most Valuable Choctaw
The form to vote for Most Valuable Choctaw will be in your Google Classroom tomorrow morning. The voting form will be available from 8 AM - 3:00 PM.
Literacy Month
DCHS will be collecting "gently" used or new books from each 2nd block class.
The 2nd block that collects the most books will receive a pizza party!
All books will be donated throughout the county to local libraries and charities.
We will be collecting books through tomorrow, September 27th.

DC is back in the USA (Red, White, & Blue/Patriotic wear)
Friday-Home Sweet Home, Back to DC (Orange & White gear)
All dress up days must be dress code appropriate
ACT Test
Tuesday, October 1st
9th, 10th, and 11th grade students will be taking a practice ACT test.
Seniors will be taking the real ACT.
Students will report to your testing location at 8:00 AM (please check google classroom for your testing location).
9th & 10th grade students will be responsible for bringing their own calculators.
Yearbooks
2020 yearbooks are on sale in the Concession Stand.
Prices will increase after October 1st!
Senior quotes can be turned in, as well as information about Senior Ads.

Lip Sync
The annual Lip Sync performance is October 4th.
Tickets will be $5 and go on sale in the concessions stand on Monday, September 30th during break.
