Daily Announcements December 14, 2018 Congratulations to Molly Medling for being selected as the DAR Chapter representative. High school students from five schools in the area each selected a winner, and the Key Corner Chapter NSDAR selects an overall winner for their chapter. Molly will now be given the opportunity to enter the DAR Scholarship contest, where she will be eligible to win awards beyond the chapter level. The December ACT has been rescheduled for tomorrow. The test will still count as a National ACT test since the original was cancelled due to inclement weather. If for some reason your schedule does not allow for you to retake the test on that day, you must contact ACT to reschedule it for another date. Students please make sure to bring a photo id, your ACT ticket, and your own calculator. Due to the ACT being rescheduled for tomorrow, the Winter Formal time has been moved to 7-9 PM tonight. HOSA will be selling popcorn and drinks for $1 in the concession stand at break. All proceeds go to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Chess Club will meet next Monday, December 18. NHS will be sponsoring an “Ugly Christmas Sweater” day on December 18th. The 3rd block with the most participation will win a Pizza Party! Any student who is planning on going to the DSCC campus for classes next semester needs to see Mrs. McCall to register and pick up paperwork.
